Access the Library:
Start from the homepage and click on Library.
Navigate to the AI-Powered Notes section.
Select Create a New Template.
Name and Availability:
Assign a name to your template. For this demo, we’ll call it My SOAP Note 2.
Ensure the template is available for both AI Scribe and Voice Chart.
Set Custom Instructions:
Define the style of writing. For instance, you can specify "write in the style of a family medicine doctor."
Add Sections and Subsections:
Start by adding standard sections like Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan, and Patient Instructions.
Customize further by adding subsections. For example:
In Subjective: Add Medication Review and Past Medical History.
In Objective: Include Vital Signs.
Custom Instructions for Sections:
Provide detailed prompts for each section to guide the AI:
Subjective: Instruct the AI to write in a single paragraph, including all patient-provided information.
Objective: Specify that the section should follow a predefined template, adapting to the use case.
Assessment: Include a problem list with ICD-10 codes.
Plan: Use bullet points with hashtags and include a differential diagnosis.
Patient Instructions: Add an after-visit summary.
Save the Template:
Once all sections and instructions are complete, save your template.
Select Your Template:
From AI Scribe or Voice Chart, choose the custom template you just created (My SOAP Note).
Record the Conversation or Note Dictation:
Use AI Scribe to record the patient visit or Voice Chart to dictate a note.
Review the Generated Note:
Once the recording is complete, the AI generates a structured note.
If you need to make adjustments, return to the Library, locate your template, and modify it as needed. This ensures your templates evolve with your clinical practice.
Personalization: Tailor notes to your workflow and specialty.
Efficiency: Save time by automating repetitive tasks.
Accuracy: Ensure notes follow your precise formatting and content requirements.
