How to Remove a User from a Team
Managing your Chartnote team means keeping your seats organized as people join, change roles, or move on. Whether someone has left your practice or you simply need to free up a seat, removing a user from your team takes just a few clicks. This guide walks you through the entire process step by step, so you can keep your team roster accurate and your subscription optimized. Keep in mind that removing a user only unassigns them from your team—it does not delete their Chartnote account.
Step-by-Step Tutorial
How to Remove a User from a Team
- Look under your profile icon and verify you are in the Team context.
- If you are not in the Team context, click to change it.
- Click the Team icon.
- Select Seats.
- You'll see your seats and the users assigned to them. Click the Delete User icon next to the user you want to remove.
- Select Unassign to confirm.
- That's it—the user has been removed.
Note: Removing a user will not delete the user's account; it only removes them from your team. The seat is now empty, so you can assign a new user to it, or update your subscription to remove the seat entirely.
