Snippet commands are custom voice commands for inserting a specific snippet and expanding it's content into a note. Snippet commands are defined by the user. It can include multiple words.
Why you should use snippet commands?
Use snippet commands for content you re-use frequently in your notes. They save time and effort, and reduce errors.
Typical uses include frequently typed snippets. Anything from a signature or address to a normal exam template or a condition frequently seen in your practice.
To create a snippet command, go to the right upper menu and select Library > Snippets > My Library and create a new snippet or select an existing one. Define the custom voice command by assigning an easy to remember name. It can be more than one word. For example, signature, altered mental status or hypertension plan. So when dictating in your note you would say "insert snippet signature".
