How to Switch Between Personal and Team Accounts in Chartnote

If you’re note seeing your notes, you may be in the wrong account context. This guide shows you how to switch between your Personal account and your Team account on the web, note that whatever context you’re in on the web app will also be the context you see in the mobile app.

Step-by-step: Switch contexts on the web app

1. Log in to Chartnote on the web (Chartnote.com).

2. Click the top-right corner hamburger menu.

3. You will see Personal Context or your Team name here. 

4. If you want to switch, select the dropdown option:

Choose Personal to see your personal notes
Choose your Team name to see team notes (yours + anything shared with you)

5. Wait a second for the page to refresh, then you can see your notes list on the left.

6. Open the mobile app (if needed): once you switch on the web, the mobile app will match that same context automatically.

Note: If you don’t see the Team name you expect in the dropdown, you may not have accepted the team invitation yet. Search your email for the invite and accept it, or ask your Team Admin to resend the invitation.
