Importing a Snippet from the Community Library

Text snippets are pre-written blocks of content you can trigger instantly with a short abbreviation — perfect for repeated phrases, templates, or boilerplate text. Community snippets are shared by other users and are freely available to import. Once added to your own library, you can fully customize the content, title, and abbreviation to match your personal workflow. This tutorial walks you through the entire process, from browsing the community library to having a ready-to-use snippet in your collection.



Step-by-step

  • Go to "Library"
  • Click on "Snippets"
  • Open the Community Snippets
  • Find the snippet you want to import and click "Import Into My Library"
  • Edit the Title and Abbreviation if needed. Click OK
  • Click "Edit Snippet"
  • Edit and customize the snippet to suit your needs
  • Click "Save and exit"
  • Click "Proceed and save"
  • The snippet will now be listed in "My Library" and ready to use
