Conducting a Telehealth Visit with Chartnote AI Scribe
Chartnote AI Scribe can listen to your telehealth conversation and generate a clinical note in real-time. The setup requirements vary depending on your devices and platform. Here’s how you can make it work:
Using Your Phone
If you're conducting the visit via your phone:
- Place the call on speakerphone.
- Use a second device to record the visit with Chartnote Web or the Chartnote Mobile app.
Using Zoom or Microsoft Teams (Desktop Apps)
When using platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams:
- Record your conversation using Chartnote Web or the Chartnote Mobile app on another device.
Using Web-Based Platforms (e.g., Google Meet, Doxy.me, Doximity Dialer)
For platforms accessed via a browser:
- Record the call using the Chartnote Mobile app.
- Alternatively, use Chartnote Web on a different browser. For example:
- Open Google Meet in Google Chrome.
- Open Chartnote in Microsoft Edge.
Using Headsets During Telehealth Visits
When using a headset, Chartnote captures audio from your microphone, but it cannot capture the patient's voice coming through your headphones. To enable this, you'll need an audio mixer to loop back the system audio and record everything heard through your headphones.
